Romance Novelist: Gauge is a romance novelist. He writes exclusively gay romance novels featuring men. While they do contain well-developed stories and characters, they also heavily feature explicit scenes. If your character reads such material, it's not unlikely that they've read some of his books.
The Brume: Gauge grew up in the Brume. About five years ago, he managed to scrape together enough funds to move and start a life for himself as a writer.
Gentleman's Boxing: Before moving away from Ishgard, Gauge made money competing in underground boxing rings. He did well enough for himself to now own a nice cottage in the Lavender Beds.
The Rusty Mug: Gauge also works as a manager at a hole in the wall type dive bar in The Brume in Ishgard, called The Rusty Mug.
Novels
Note: These novels are given simply general plots with few key points so as to foster creativity with those who RP that their characters read Gauge's novels. When it comes to specifics of the stories, feel free to RP whatever you like, keeping in mind just a few things: Romances in the stories always feature gay men. Romance is the point of these stories and smut scenes are not at all shied away from, but there are well developed plots and fully developed characters present. There are full stories with mystery and intrigue and not simply chapter after chapter of sex. However, when it comes to the sex scenes present, it is not simply vanilla, BDSM is a common theme in these novels.Aside from those things, have fun with it. Even when interacting with Gauge himself, I am happy to run with anything that someone comes up with! It's all for fun.Love Eternal:

A continuation of the story with the lead couple of Love Eternal. More intrigue and adventure awaits the couple as the vampire teaches his new eternal lover how to be a vampire. There is also the introduction of a new vampire who falls for a dashing rogue, whom he stalks before attempting to woo him.Siren’s Call:
The tale of a sailor and a male siren. The two share a secret, dangerous romance. The siren struggles to protect him and does so on many occasions. Yet, in the end, the siren’s nature forces him to leave the sailor in order to keep him safe.The Dream of the Stranger:
A tale of forbidden love between a nobleman and a young man from the Brume. A passionate affair that leads to much gossip and scandal. Betrayals and whirlwind trysts in darkened alleys and broom closets.Forgotten Tales:
A reaper stumbles upon an injured young man. He takes him in to care for his grievous injuries. For a time, the reaper suspects that his patient is possessed with a voidsent but it turns out that some fairy tales are real. This handsome stranger is a werewolf.

Hello, I am Siv, I'm a long-time MMO RPer. I am in my late 30's and I am neurodivergent.
Please understand that I am a rather busy person. I have RL responsibilities as well as the fact that I spend a decent portion of time running an RP venue. I also have a decent number of already established RP partners. Please don't take my limited availability as a personal offense or as disinterest.
No OOC flirting, please, as I'm not looking for any OOC romantic or sexual interactions. Platonic friendship is okay but nothing beyond that!
I am well over 30 IRL and will only RP with those 21+, for one-on-one & long-term RP, I prefer 30+ only.

While I seldom have free time available to start RPs with new people, meeting my OCs at my venues is the best way to be able to engage with them, given my busy schedule.
None of my characters are monogamous. While they do have romantic entanglements, they have all developed naturally, over time and primarily via a slow burn pace. I also only ship with high chemistry. Flirting does not always mean actual interest for my characters. Keep this in mind if approaching with shipping expectations.
I very much value communication with RP partners. While I do not desire my stories to be scripted, I do enjoy plotting with my RP partners and having open communication along the way.
I do not do AUs or non-canon RPs. All RP with me is considered canon for my stories.
Content can include anything from dark content to adventures to silly, light-hearted fun! I'm willing to roll with most things!
